Dr. Lauren Senn is a native South Carolinian. Her passion for animals began at a young age where she grew up in an animal-loving household filled with cats, dogs, turtles, fish, horses, rabbits, chickens, ducks, and more. Dr. Senn completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Centenary University in NJ. Her love of the outdoors led her to work at the NJ State Fish Hatchery where she helped to spawn 15 different species of warm and cold freshwater fish. Dr. Senn received her DVM from St. George’s University in Grenada and completed her clinical year at Louisiana State University. Her passion and love for the coast, wildlife, and the beauty of coastal South Carolina led her to move back to her roots to practice veterinary medicine. Her hobbies include kayaking, reading, cooking, and spending time with her two cats, Basset Hound Wilma, and new rescue dog Sisko.
